My small learnings
in March 2026
This month has been quiet on the blog, reflecting the busyness of life offline.
Backstages
I’m proud to continue being part of the UnfinishedProjects team, where we’re working to build unique platforms that will hopefully offer something valuable to the community, inspiring even more projects.
Big announcement will come soon :)
Hacking is always exciting
Struggling to get physical books, I found the Xteink X4
to be the perfect solution for keeping my reading on track. As a bonus, it gave me the perfect opportunity to tinker with a new piece of hardware. I’m excited to welcome this little guy into the ESP32 family here at home. It’s nothing fancy or shiny. Its features are pretty limited and old-school, and that’s exactly what drew me in. It perfectly fits the philosophy of “do one thing, but do it right”.
Its basic manufacturing makes it incredibly affordable compared to other e-readers, which would have come with features I don’t need and a more closed ecosystem. Still, I had serious concerns about the reading experience on such a small device. But it proved itself to be sleek, functional, and a dream for anyone who loves tinkering with new hardware, whether you’re a coding geek or an avid reader. This is the real “back to the future” of reading!
